I began my journey as a home child care provider in 2012 to be of better service in my community. I enjoy watching children learn, grow and be uniquely creative. I believe that I am contributing to the people they will become.I am a dedicated child care provider and mother of four. I’ve worked as a Child Welfare Attendant for the Chicago Public School system servicing children with special needs for over 5 years. I have taken training workshops in infant and child safety, effective methods of nurturing positive growth and development in children, proper nutrition for children, and craft ideas. I also hold a Level & Level 2 ECE Credential along with a Level 2 Family Child Care Credential organized by the State of Illinois and Gateways. I have my CDA, Child Development Associate in early Childhood, which is established by the National Council of Professional Recognition. I was awarded Excelerate Illinois Silver Circle of quality care in 2017/2018.
All of this is to say that I will always maintain continuous Professional Development in the field of Family Child Care. We put all of our efforts in providing children and families the best of care.

CORE VALUES

Each child is creative in their own way. The family is a child’s first teacher. If we nurture both the child and their families, we are bringing awareness to the child’s family, culture, and community. We believe that children learn through playful interactions.
